water falls in the middle of the forest

Life is full of ups and downs, and one of the most difficult part in life can be dealing with the negative emotions that come with challenging circumstances. We often hold on to feelings of frustrations, sadness, or resentment, since we have the right to be upset especially when we feel wronged. But how long do we really want to carry that weight? Letting go isn’t always easy, but it’s necessary for growth, peace, and living in alignment with our highest selves.

Choosing Peace Over Negativity

There are times in life when uncomfortable circumstances happen, and they can make us feel a certain negative way. Sometimes, we hold on to those feelings a little longer because we feel like we have the right to be upset, especially when we feel wronged by what happened to us. Letting go isn’t always easy. But for how long do we really want to hold on to it?

I’m at a point in my life where those negative feelings don’t linger for too long. My focus is more on myself. Sometimes, I want to express myself more clearly, to understand and be understood, rather than stay upset. But sometimes I also just want to be silent, and let go of feelings that don’t serve me.

Choosing Love, Resilience, and Growth

I see life and all life as something beautiful, loving, and forgiving. We all carry love within us. There’s a light within us all, and it’s up to us to be open to it. I want to be open, to let my love radiate, to love unconditionally, and to live my best life as my best self with my best intentions towards all.

More importantly, I want to take more care of myself, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically so that I can show up as my best self for others while also building resilience. And for me, that means working on myself daily because life is always going to throw things at us when we least expect it. Good or bad, and I want to be there for it as my best self with open arms.

Shifting Perspective: Life as a Lesson

I understand that this is a world of duality. We can choose to be a judge of what is right and what is wrong. But I am choosing to see moments not as something negative or inconveniences, but as lessons, as a menu of what I can choose in my life. I am focusing more on what I truly want to continue experiencing and cultivating in life rather than fighting against the current.

Life is constantly moving, changing, and presenting us with opportunities to grow. While negativity is a natural part of life and can help us grow, holding onto it only keeps us stuck. When we let go, shift our perspective, and embrace the flow, we open ourselves to something greater: peace, love, and deeper understanding. The choice is ours.

If you are struggling to let go, take a deep breath and remind yourself that you deserve peace. Every moment is a new opportunity to choose love, growth, and understanding.
